* 1 piece of fusible stiff interfacing 5 ½" X 3 ½"
* 1 piece of 12 gauge clear vinyl 2 ½" X 3 ¾"

Step 1 Cut the pattern out of the fusible stiff interfacing.
Step 2 Fold the 12" X 7" fabric in half along the 7-inch side.
Step 3 Place the pattern on the fold where indicated. Cut out the luggage tag adding ½" seam allowance on all sides as shown in the diagram. Cut out the strap for the luggage tag on the fold so that it measures 2" X 12" when unfolded.
Step 4 Open the fabric. Fuse the fusible stiff interfacing on the wrong side of the fabric matching the short straight edge to the center fold. Trim a ¼" off the points on both ends. (Figure 1)
Step 5 Fold in the seam allowance over the interfacing and all the way around the fabric, press.
Step 6 Fold the fabric over the interfacing matching the point and all edges pin in place.
Step 7 To create the strap for the luggage tag, fold the 2" X 12" piece of fabric wrong sides together, matching the raw edges along the 12" sides. Open the strip and turn in the long sides matching the raw edges to the center fold. Refold on the center pressed mark. Edge stitch the length of the strip on both sides using the edge stitch foot SA184 to stitch close to the edge.
Step 8 Fold the strap in half and slip the ends into the point of the luggage tag about ½". Stitch close to the edge all the way around the luggage tag using the edge stitch foot.
Step 9 Place the non-stick foot SA114 on the machine. Center the 2 ½" X 3 ¾" heavy gage vinyl on the front of the tag. Stitch in place close to the edge of the vinyl around three sides.
